The capability framework is a descriptive model of behavioral competencies associated with each position. It is essential in qualitative and quantitative assessment of Heartists®’ performance and support in their development. 


Understanding the Capabilities Framework 

There is a base of 4 common competencies applicable to all Capability Framework groups. Specific competencies are gradually added starting from the Heartist group to the Team Manager and Executive groups.  

3 Competencies Groups exist for head offices: 

  • HEARTIST®: 4 behavioral competencies assessed 
  • HEARTIST® TEAM MANAGER: 6 behavioral competencies assessed 
  • HEARTIST® EXECUTIVE: 7 behavioral competencies assessed

  • HEARTIST® LINE STAFF: 2 behavioral competencies assessed (these competencies have been selected and shared with the Heartist® by the manager during the annual performance and development interview from the LCF Supervisor level) 
  • HEARTIST® SUPERVISOR: 4 behavioral competencies assessed 
  • HEARTIST® TEAM MANAGER: 6 behavioral competencies assessed 
  • HEARTIST® EXECUTIVE: 7 behavioral competencies assessed
