Mass assignment of Goals


Prerequisites 

You need to have a 'Talent Specialist' role to perform the action listed below. 


Caution and limitation of usage 

The following FAQ entry explains how to mass assign goals to employees. This functionality should be used by a T&C within a hotel or a hub who wants to assign the same goal(s) to many employees


/!\ Be cautious, this functionality allows you to create goals for employees who do not belong to your scope or entity. Please be very careful and if you have any doubt, please raise a ticket first. /!\ 

 

Step by step Guide:


Access the functionality

1. Login into My Heartist Portal >> Click on Manage Goals tab under My Action as T&C

2. Click on Set Up of Performance Goals Mass Assignment

 

3. Click on Add (on right top right hand of the page)

 

 4. Configure the population and define the goal to add

     Specify the name of the process

     Select the Review Period


 Zoom on the requester: 

“Add a requester” allows to copy goals from one user to other user. For example, cascade some goals you assigned to your F&B manager to all the F&B team. 

/!\ Do not use the Eligibility Profiles section /!\

You must leave his section empty. No eligibility profile should be used as they applied globally (The goals will be added worldwide)


Include workers: 

6. Manually specify employees one by one. The system allows you to add a manager with all his/her direct/indirect reports.


 

Define goals to add

7. Add the goals one by one (from library or from scratch).


Please advise that the goals will possibly be added to existing ones, it may result a sum of goals weight higher to 100%.

 

Launch the “Mass Assign Process”

8. Click on the back arrow on the left hand of the screen to go back to the “T&C > Goal” menu. 


9. Click on Scheduled Process for Performance Goals.


 

10. Then Click on 'Submit'. A confirmation message is displayed.

11. Then click on the button “Monitor Process”. The process runs every 15 minutes: this means you have to wait up to 15 minutes before obtaining the result

 



12. When the status is Succeed, the goals have been added in the goals plans of the selected population.
