Learning Items can refer to all the following items:
- Offerings
- Courses
- Specializations
- Communities
You can decide to assign one of these learning items to specific employees.
The way to process is the same on all tabs, no matter the Learning Item you select.
Please find below a step by step with screenshots on how to assign an offering:
Login into My Heartist Portal >> Click on "Learning(Administrator tools)" from My Learning.
Select Offerings tab from Learning Catalog
There are 2 ways to open Learner page:
1. By Selecting Offering Number or Offering Title hyperlink >> Select Learner tab.
2. By Selecting Offering row and click on Learners button.
Click on Add Learners then select the type of assignment (for example: Voluntary assignment):
Add necessary Enrolment Details >> Click on Next
Click on Add button >> Add a person (one by one) or one of the criteria to add multiple learners :
- Analysis Report Criteria: allows you to select either a brand (example: if you select Mercure = all Mercure Learner of your scope) or select a Hub (all learners within your scope in the hub)
- Learning Assignment Criteria: allows you to select learners within you scope that have a specific learning assignment (example: all learner that have completed Heartist Level 1)
- Organization Chart Criteria: allows you to select learners within you scope that a part of specific entity or hotel (example: either a manger's directs or a manager's directs and indirects (until the bottom)
- Person Criteria: allows you to select learners within you scope by choosing multiple criteria (apart brand and hub)
Once you have selected the learner, you can click on Next:
Define the “Advanced Rules”.
You can choose the assignment status between "Active" and "Pending Fulfillment":
If you choose the assignment "pending fulfillment", it's an additional step that leaves the final decision to the administrator to use if they commonly need to prioritize the approved learners. Pending Fulfillment do not allow the learner to realize the assignment until the activation by the learning specialist / administrator.
Once done, click on Submit button.
Now user can check Voluntary learning details by Login into ”My Heartist Portal” >> Click on “Learning” from “My Learning” tab as below:
