SmartAssistant’s Match Score will change to a 5-point scale. The 5-star output is more easily understood, better connected to the 5-star inputs, and has less false precision than the previous 0-100 scale.

It won't make decisions for you, but it'll help you restack the list of applicants to highlight candidates who are the best fit, without having to scroll through the whole list and review one-by-one.

Feature Highlights :

  • Easy to understand
  • Clear connection to the 5-star input data the model is trained on
  • Improved precision between candidates (e.g. ‘Why is candidate A an 83 and candidate B an 82?’)

Instead of 0-100, the new 5-Star Match Score output options will be 1-5 stars as shown in the following image:

Frequently Asked Questions :

Q: How does the new 5-star scale map to the old 0-100 scale?

A: There’s no exact mapping. However, generally speaking you could say 5-Star corresponds to roughly a Match Score of 85 or above from before, and a 1-Star corresponds to 60 and below. As you can already see, the 5-star scale is much simpler and just as effective at sorting candidates starting from best fit!
