There are 3 different modes of Data Input during the Preparation Period:

1. Consolidated: In this mode, the data of all the units (hotels) of a perimeter is collected and filled into a single Excel data file.

This method is relevant when the region has numerous units. In such cases, separate data input for each hotel would lead to additional workload for the person responsible for the reporting process and therefore, consolidated data input would be considered as a better option.

2. By Unit:  In this mode, a separate Excel data file needs to be filled in for each unit and the indicators will be available at the unit level.

This method is relevant when the people responsible for the reporting process are collecting and reporting separately from each unit in their area of responsibility.

3. Mixed:  In this mode, data of some of the units will be uploaded in one consolidated Excel data file and so the data will be total for all of them. For the remaining units, data will be uploaded separately in a separate Excel data file for each hotel.

This method is relevant when:
1. There is a centralized system, but one or a few of the units(hotels) are out of the system.

2. The consolidated data for all units is there, but the data for one/few hotel(s) came late.

 3. It is possible to extract consolidated data from your system, but some data needs to be reported per unit (ex: training). You may input the data of the training for each unit, and the other consolidated data afterward in the « consolidated perimeter ». HR DATA will consolidate all data i.e., global data.

For example: If a perimeter consists of 16 units

 1. Consolidated Mode: The data of all 16 units will be collected and filled into a single Excel data file.

2. By Unit Mode: The data of all 16 units will be collected and filled separately into 16 different Excel data files for 16 different units.

3. Mixed Mode: Consolidated data of 10 units will be collected and filled into a single Excel data file and for the remaining 6 units, the data will be collected and filled separately into 6 different Excel data files for 6 different units.

*Important Note:

During the Preparation Period, the user only needs to Select the Mode of Data Input and click on Validate the mode of Data Input just to confirm the mode that they would be using during the Data Collection Period.

During the Data Collection Period, the user will be uploading the filled Excel data file into the system.

The user can also see the mode of data input that he/she had chosen for the previous year under Selection of the previous period.
