Interview scorecards are a great way to help your hiring team make consistent hiring decisions and through structured feedback.


1/ When creating your job, you can choose an interview guide which will be automatically integrated into the candidate's profile in the review tab.

It is conditional on the REGION field: PM&E, Americas, ENA, MEA SPAC, Greater China AND the Interview Guide selection : 





2/ From the Reviews tab of the candidate profile, your scorecards will appear: 






3/ Click on the show questions arrow to view the questions.



4/ For each skill assessed, you can :

  • Consult the definition of the criterion and the related questions.
  • Rate the candidate against each criterion
  • Provide additional comments, up to 20,000 characters! 


Free-text comments and ratings help recruitment team members to collaborate and share their thoughts and explanations on the scores.


MAIN POINTS : 

As part of our recruitment processes, it is essential to be vigilant about the information we enter in candidate profiles.

Indeed, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) , every candidate has the right to request access to all personal data concerning them. This includes all notes and comments recorded in our application management tools.


Points to watch out for:

  • Accuracy and neutrality: Comments should remain professional, factual and objective.
  • Avoid personal judgments: Any subjective or unjustified remarks could be misinterpreted by the candidate.
  • Confidentiality: Do not include sensitive or irrelevant information about the candidate.

Example to avoid:

  • “Lacks dynamism, seems unmotivated.”
  • “Not suitable, lacks ambition.”

Suitable example:

  • “Professional experience does not match job requirements.”
  • “Identified skills not aligned with needs for this assignment.”


5/ When finished, click Submit Review :


SmartRecruiters will add a story to the list of reviews.


6/ To revise your scorecard rating and reviews from the Reviews tab, just click Show Scorecard again.

7/ To revise the scorecard while elsewhere in SmartRecruiters, such as on Hireloop, click Edit to go straight to the Reviews tab.
